This place exceeded our expectations! Our cabin next to the creek was perfect, with an incredible view! Two female best friends are the owners, and we met one of them, and she couldn't be any nicer or more genuine! She went around the cafe with her dog and spoke to everyone, to be sure they were happy. Best smoked salmon seafood chowder ever (in fact we had it the second day as well, along with great homemade bread)! And the warm welcoming chocolate chip cookies left in our cabin were delicious! Nice touch!

During the 'Wilderness Intensive Learning Development' on a Sunday brunch. We were offered 1 free mimosa per breakfast or lunch plate. If in the Denali area, please stop by for a delicious meal. You may get lucky and be part of a community fundraiser and take part in a special menu! Food & drinks: A favorite for the locals because the vegetables and fruit are sourced locally so always the freshest

November 2022 booked 3 day reservation for the early June 2023. As trip got closer, we received proactive communications from McKinley Creekside regarding our upcoming stay, remaining payment and arrival plans. Upon arrival, check-in was seamless and everything was in place for our stay - even warm cookies! Cabin was exactly as described and setting was spectacular! Our covered outdoor deck just steps from the creek made it perfect, even on a drizzly day. The community firepit and pavilion made it easy for other guests to meet and share respective Alaska adventures. Facility location was perfect distance from Denali, and the 'small' setting was comfortable away from the crowded Denali Village masses. On site restaurant had a good variety of menu items with daily specials. The bakery was top-notch with tasty cinnamon rolls, pies and daily specials too.

We came here to get bakery items as we were heading back to our hotel after a day at Danali. The bakery items were all excellent! While looking at the bakery counter we looked over the restaurant menu and decided to come back the next day for dinner. It was the best meal of our trip! My husband and dad loved the steak, I loved the halibut tacos, and the kids loved their hamburgers. It is a great location and the kids loved to go by the creek after dinner.

My husband and I stayed at McKinley Creekside Cabins for 3 nights during our stay at Denali National Park. We chose one of the creekside cabins, and it surpassed our expectations. The location of the cabin could not have been more perfect, right alongside the beautiful creek! The cabins themselves are extremely nice. Rustic on the outside, but are spacious, extremely clean and have all the amenities that one could need on the inside. We were supplied with k-cup coffee pods each time for the keurig, and there is a small fridge for any other needs. Each cabin is very private and we hardly saw any of the other people staying there. The outside deck with chairs and small table was a perfect spot to have morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. There is also a pavilion on the creek with more tables where we were able to sit with our family with whom we were traveling and have a glass of wine. The café is wonderful! We ate there for dinner one night and breakfast a couple of mornings. Food was very good and the service was fantastic. If you don’t want a full breakfast, you can choose from their amazing selection of pastries and get coffee to go. If we return to this area again we would absolutely stay at McKinley Creekside Cabins!

What a find! Lodging options near Denali are a little rough (very rustic and/or very expensive), and we were SO glad to find this place. The accommodations were delightful - a much bigger room than a traditional hotel room, outdoor space, and super clean. Service was outstanding at check-in and for any needs during our stay, and having the convenience of the VERY tasty cafe onsite for a quick pick-up or sit-down breakfast, packed lunches to take into the park, and really great dinners was so handy. There's construction north of the park now, so not having to drive through that on the way to accommodations in Healy was a bonus. They even have a firepit and games area with cornhole etc. This one is a winner!

Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Denali. Cabin we had was very nice - spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We ate at the restaurant twice (breakfast and dinner) and had two very good meals. Service was excellent with staff taking the time to talk to you and make suggestions on their favorite things to do. We also stopped in each morning for a to-go coffee and scone, which were nice to enjoy on our drive to Denali. Great place to stay while visiting the area and food was significantly better than anything else in the area.
