Cafe Reservations

We take a limited number of reservations for parties of 2-5 people for our inhouse guests only and

our neighbors in Cantwell, Denali, and Healy.

We take reservations for groups of 6-18 people.  For groups 8-18ppl we have our private Kantishna Room.
Group dining times are 5PM, 5:30PM, 7:30PM, 8PM or 8:30PM
Groups of 6 may be seated in our main dining room.
A credit card guarantee is required for all groups reservations.

We would truly love the opportunity to host your group at McKinley Creekside Café & Bakery. One of the things groups enjoy most about dining with us is being able to gather together after a day of adventures and enjoy a relaxed, memorable meal in a beautiful setting surrounded by the Alaska wilderness.

Because we are a small, locally owned boutique property, we intentionally keep our dining experience personal and high quality. To help create the best possible experience for your group, we offer private group dining in our Kantishna Room for parties of 8 to 18 people. It’s a wonderful space for groups to reconnect, share stories from the day, and enjoy a more intimate dining experience together. *Group of 6 will be seated in our main dining room.

To help with planning, I wanted to share a few details regarding our group dining policies and options:

Private Group Dining

  • Groups of 8 or more wishing to dine together must reserve our private Kantishna Room.

  • Due to space limitations, we are unable to seat groups of this size together in our main dining room.

  • This applies to both breakfast and dinner.

Group Dining Menu & Billing

  • Groups dining together in the Kantishna Room will order from a limited group menu designed to ensure smooth service and a great guest experience.

  • Guests are charged based on what they order.

  • A 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill.

  • Payment is collected directly from guests unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Reservations, Cancellations & No-Shows

  • ​Reservations are required for all group dining.

  • Dinner Dining times are 5PM, 5:30PM, 7:30PM, 8PM or 8:30PM-request one of these times only.

  • A credit card guarantee is required at the time of booking.

    • We require a 24+ hour notice to cancel your reservation.

    • Cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation, a $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged.

  • If your group is running late, please call us at 907-683-2277 as soon as possible and we will always do our best to adjust your dining time if we can.

  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, as additional staff are scheduled specifically for group reservations. In many cases, team members are giving up a day off to take care of our groups, and we want to be respectful of their time and schedules as well.​

Our goal is always to provide warm hospitality, attentive service, and a dining experience that feels special and uniquely Alaskan. We’re happy to help coordinate meals, breakfasts, boxed lunches, and other details to make your group’s stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
