Hii, I love to read about generic conventions bcoz it's a part of literary devices. Setting, theme, characters, and iconography are the kinds of it. Iconography only talks about scientific methodology. It's identification, classification, description, and interpretation of the theme, symbols, subjects, etc. Iconographical studies were published in the 16th century.
