CO-vid 19 updates

Although not currently mandated by order we are recommending the follow Covid testing policy.
We will update mandates and recommendations as they change (as of 2/20/201).
1. If you’re traveling to Alaska we recommend following the protocol.
a. submit a travel declaration form.
b. arrive with proof of your negative molecular-based COVID test.
c. If you want a second COVID-19 test 5-14 days after arriving contact our front desk for local testing days/sites.
d. Apply best-practices for COVID-conscious travel, including WEAR a mask when and where appropriate, WASH your hands.
2. After you land in Alaska, if you have not received your negative Co-Vid Test results prior, then get your Co- Vid test at the airport on arrival. Although not state mandated, we recommend.
Safety first approach
We are continuing to adapt as you are, as information becomes available. We are happy to report a successful and safe 2020 season! We worked hard to make necessary adjustments and take all possible precautions to keep our guests and staff safe this past summer and will continue to do so. Here’s what we’re doing to ensure a safe and healthy summer season for 2021:
Adapting to all necessary changes recommended by State of Alaska Health Mandates
Hourly cleaning of high traffic and high touch areas in public spaces
Hand sanitizer provided at entrance and exit of Café and Hotel Front Desk
Closely monitoring employees for symptoms and signs of coronavirus
Practicing social distancing in the restaurant when possible
Expanded social distanced outdoor dining and options for take out
All menus available online for guests who prefer to use their personal device
All staff interacting with guests will wear a clean face mask for every shift
Daily temperature check for all employees
Room keys sanitized between guests
Option for Contactless Check - In by guest request
Additional cleaning and sanitation in rooms between guests
Don't see something you were expecting? Don't hesitate to reach out! The comfort and safety of our guests and employees is our #1 priority as we navigate the pandemic. We are transparent in our efforts and are happy to accommodate a request whenever possible.

Reservation Hours: Everyday - 9am-6pm PST.
If you have a current reservation and need to change it for 2021 we hope you will consider moving your current reservation to later in the summer or to 2022.
If you have a current reservation and are uncertain about travel for 2021 we encourage you to keep it as things continue to develop. We have relaxed all of our cancellation policies in the light of Corona Virus and offer refunds up to 72 hours prior to check-in.
If you are able, adjusting your reservation rather than cancelling goes a long way to support our small business.

Denali National Park updates 2021
Currently all major tour companies plan to open for the 2021 season, but that may change as more information becomes available. Check back with us for updates on Denali National Park access and what activities are available in Denali.

Covid-19 Reservation Policies
Modify Current Reservation: Email or call us at 1-907-683-2277 to adjust your dates.
Cancel: We offer flexible 72 hour cancellation for our guests, however, in order to keep our phone staffed and recover processing costs we have a $25 cancellation/processing fee ($50 for Housing Rentals - Carlo House, Guest Cabin and Loft). If this is a financial hardship for you and your family please contact us and we will issue a full refund.
Please know if you booked through Booking.com, Expedia or other OTA (Online Travel Agency; Priceline, Hotels.com, etc.) you must cancel your reservation through them and we will issue a refund less a $25 cancellation/processing fee.
