The Carlo Property is the newest lodging facilities offered by McKinley Creekside Cabins & Café. Recognizing a need for custom lodging that provided all the essentials and amenities of home we decided to open the Carlo Property. We offer the professional service of an experienced lodging facility with 16+ years experience and the desire to offer a unique lodging option for the Denali area. We have two options to choose from; the Carlo House and the Carlo Guest Cabin. We cater to guests with their own transportation that would like some privacy, and want to be away from the crowds up at the park entrance along with all the amenities of home. GREAT for families and small groups!
The Carlo House is a beautiful 3 bedroom custom home, approx. 1800 sq. ft., situated on 3+ wooded acres. Remodeled and refurbished in 2012. We cater to families and small groups that want to be close to Denali National Park (15 minutes from the park entrance), but away from the crowds with all the luxuries and amenities of home.
The Carlo House has (3) three bedrooms, (2) two full baths, washer/dryer, custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the essentials of home. The cozy living room has a small sofa and chair, wood stove, cable TV, DVD player w/movies, Wi-Fi, and telephone. There is a grassed yard with a fire pit (great for smore's or watching the northern lights in mid Aug on). There is a covered outside dining area with an exotic wood table with bench seating which seats up to 10+ and a BBQ gas grill. A small chest freezer is available if you have fish you need to freeze. The Carlo House is a 5 minute walk from our main property McKinley Creekside Cabins & Café. See photos.

Ø Custom Kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the essentials of home. There is a small bar counter w/two stools for seating. Ø Wine chiller in the kitchen. Ø The dining area is a covered outside deck with a beautiful exotic wood custom table w/bench seating and a gas grill. Ø Oak hardwood and tile floors.

A luxury bath with antique claw foot tub, separate tile & glass shower and amazing panoramic mountain views!

There are three deck areas with seating, and a gas grill.

You will enjoy a grassed yard, campfire area along with a horse shoe pit for evening get-togethers.

There is an inviting restaurant within a 5 minute walk, The Creekside Café and many other dining options at the park entrance.
RATE: $499nt for 4 people (+ $25pp 5th-8th person) + 7% bed tax. Max. 8 people.

The NEW Carlo Guest Cabin is a two (2) bedroom custom cabin approximately 850 sq. ft., catering to families and small groups that want to be close to Denali National Park (15 minutes from the park entrance), but away from the crowds with all the luxuries and amenities of home. The "Carlo Guest Cabin" is located on the same 3+ acre wooded property as the "Carlo House", a 5 minute walk from our main property McKinley Creekside Cabins & Café.

This cabin is currently under a remodel/construction and will be available June 1st 2013!
The Carlo Guest Cabin
- Two (2) Bedrooms.
- 1st bedroom has one queen bed.
- 2nd bedroom has two queen beds with a full private bath.
- There is a second full bathroom.
- A Small living room with a sofa, TV with satellite cable, DVD player w/movies, board games and cards.
- A complete kitchen has all the amenities and essentials of home with a dining table and chairs.
- There is a washer and dryer for your convenience.
- An outside deck with seating and a gas grill.
There is an inviting restaurant within a 5 minute walk, The Creekside Café and many other dining options at the park entrance.
RATE: $379nt. for up 4 people and $25pp for a 5th or 6th person. Max. 6 people.
General Information
Check In Location: You will check in at our main property McKinley Creekside Cabins & Cafe' 907-683-2277.
located at Mile 224 on the George Parks Hwy (route 3). Head north or south on the parks hwy, look for mile marker 224, and there we are on the East side of the highway!!
Check-in: After 4:00pm, arrivals after 10:00pm please call 907-683-2277.
Check-out: 10:00am.
We DO NOT provide shuttle transportation and recommend you rent a car, for cost effectiveness, freedom, and flexibility.
Driving Times: It will take approx. 4.5 hrs. to drive from Anchorage, 2.5 hours from Fairbanks.
Stores: You will have use of a full kitchen and laundry room
Ø Driving from Anchorage: There are 2 grocery stores in Wasilla (right off the hwy) approx. 1 hr. north of Anchorage on your way to Denali they are Fred Meyers and Safeway/CARRS,...a good place to pick up food, snacks and drinks...there is one more place around Mi. 100 (2-2.5 hr. north of Anch.) called Cubby's, on the east (R) side of the hwy.

Deposit/Cancellation Policy: Carlo House & Carlo Guest Cabin
Due to a short visitor season and high demand:
A 50% Deposit is due at booking, and the balance will be collect 45 days prior to check-in.
A 61+ day notice for a full refund, a 45-60 day notice is required for a refund, less $50.00 cancellation fee, within 44 days it is non-refundable. All no-shows and early checkouts are charged full amount of reservation.
